Reading them to my own children (years ago, now) rushed me right back in time to where I was when I used to go over them again and again. Thankfully, my parents and my in-laws loved to read, so my husband and I grew up with a love of reading, too, and our children have inherited that. One of my kids said, after learning that a friend hated to read, "Wow.
