Well, this sucks.



So my last post was a cover reveal and a book sale. The sale did great and I want to thank everyone who helped spread the word.

I wish that could be the end of this post. Unfortunately it isn't.


Somehow, and honestly I can't figure it out since the book has been up for two years now, the files got changed out. So anyone who bought Elemental actually got Ashes, the second book. Ashes itself seems to be fine. 

Luckily Jo, over at Jo On Food, Life And A Scent Of Chocolate, alerted me to the fact. I have been dealing with Amazon about it and don't have many answers. They said they are reviewing if they will send out an email to all who bought the book to let them know to update. Either way the right file is up and should be able to be updated.

If you bought a copy please let me know if you have trouble updating. I truly apologize for this inconvenience.

    Thanks Brandon. I will go check if I can update Elemental. I thoroughly enjoyed Ashes even if I didn't know it was the second book.

      I might say, I just checked with Amazon, as yet they haven't done anything about it. No Mention of updating.

      I am glad you enjoyed it. I just hate that this happened. I am still trying to deal with Amazon on the issue. They sent me a message saying where you can update the book, but I don't see an area to do it. I hope they send out the emails soon.

      Me either. They said the latest would be the 29th so I guess they are waiting the full time.

    I suppose the good news here is that your second book has legs that will stand all on its own. I think I'd take the good news from this mistake and then work on getting Amazon on track. Good luck!

      It is nice to hear, but my nerves have been a wreck. I just hate to think anyone would be turned off from it. Thanks for the good luck wishes.
