P is for...

Pink Fairy Armadillo

Fun Fact: Yes this animal is real. The PFA is the smallest of the armadillo family. Found in the dry grassy plains of Argentina, where the environment works well for this digging animal. In fact, if in danger the PFA can completely bury themselves in a matter of seconds. Its large claws allow it to move through sand like some creatures move through water.

  2. The armadillo is the unofficial state mammal of Texas, and I have seen plenty of them, but this Pink Fairy Dillo is new to me. It is really a strange looking creature, although I kind of like it's one piece armor from nose to toe.

  3. How odd-looking! Like it has a superhero cape or something. And I love your drawing for today...I read it and heard you saying it in Mr. Krabbs' voice.

  4. It doesn't look real. Seriously. It looks like some made-up creature that a very creative type photo shopped. Are you joshing us???

  5. What an odd little critter. I have never heard of it before. I agree it does look like it's wearing a cape. Saw an armadillo once in Florida, but not this one.

  6. No one would mess with those claws, animal or person. The armor on the back looks so flexible.

  7. Hi human, Brandon,

I have seen you all over the place. Nice to meet you, my newest human friend. Is this the way to Armadillo? Sorry, wrong song...It looks like a glorified hedgehog.
