U is for...

Uakari


Fun Fact: Known for its bare red face, the uakari is a native of the tropical rainforest of South America. 

The uakari live in troops of 10 to 30 other monkeys. The is number can actually grow to 100. 

Unlike most monkeys the uakari has a short tail. Instead of using it to hang it helps it maintain balance. With powerful hind legs the uakari can leap over 60 feet from tree to tree.

    Another great drawing, Brandon. I kinda hate to say it, but, the Uakari are kinda creepy and scary looking…and well, look just plain mean.

    60 feet from tree to tree...yeah, I'm running away. The uakari doesn't seem harmless and cute, but yay for them living in troops and all! lol

    I think you found your character actor for Red Skull...although he looks a bit embarrassed about accepting. Fun drawing with Capt. America. I read your interview...well done...congrats on your book...I plan to download to my Kindle. Every AtoZ Challenge I pick a participants book to read...I'm looking forward to reading yours.

    He looks like he has a horrific case of sunburn. Seriously. His face is so red it appears painful, though I am sure it isn't. Can jump 60 feet. Wowza.

    That's one of the funniest looking monkeys I've ever seen, poor guy. At least he has a lot of friends. 100 monkeys is a lot. ;)

    The Uukari looks like its face has been sun burnt. They can leap over 60 feet! I am running far away from them.
