Yak
(Sorry it is Y and it has been a long month, lol.)
Fun Facts: Yaks are a herd animal of central Asia. The herds range from 10 to 100 yaks, mostly female. Distinguished by its long fur, the yak is in the same cow family as the American bison. An herbivore the yak has more than one stomach to help it get the most nutrients it can out of the plants it eats.
Thanks guys, see you all tomorrow for the final letter of the month.
I am glad I only have one stomach. I am having difficulty keeping IT under control. I can't imagine having two or MORE... yaks!
ReplyDeletelol. Oh I know, bring on the pepto
DeleteAnother near miss, I too thought of yaks. I love that picture.
ReplyDeletelol, yeah I couldn't pass up the shaggy animals.
DeleteThat was very funny... yak, yak, yak!
ReplyDeletehehehe. I won't lie I did chuckle at it once I was done.
DeleteBad pun!
ReplyDeleteHowever, you drew a fine yak.
I try, I try.
DeleteAs Alex said...you drew a fine yak and the drummer did a an excellent roll. I'm with you...I'm about yaked out, too! Just one more to ZIPout!

I just love your drawings!! Another good post.
ReplyDeleteGreat drawing today! (. . . and every day, but this one made me laugh aloud)
ReplyDeleteI think I might be a yak; I'm pretty sure I'm hiding two stomachs under this shirt. :P
Good choice for the letter Y. Crashing drum effects--perfect.
ReplyDeleteI never noticed how cutes yaks actually are. . . unless I'm the only one who thinks that. Then they definitely aren't. ;)
ReplyDeleteRandom thoughts: Yak drawing reminds me of cheerleaders in a pyramid! Maybe because we have 24 cheerleaders in my school, and I've taught many of them this year. Another random thought: I have a lot of "yak"ers in my classes and some who eat as thought they have two stomachs. I actually have a couple of co-habitating students who come to class every day smelling like bacon. I hadn't really noticed until my student teacher pointed it out to me. As I said, random thoughts. Cheers.

ReplyDeleteHah! Oh my. Well, if all else fails, turn to the puns. I can't believe it's pretty much over. (YES!!!!) And we survived! I want a metal. Made of cheese. Wait, can metal be made of cheese...?

Loved the picture and the pun!! I am always a breathe away from feeling like I might YAK. I use that expression, all too often, unfortunately. Only one more letter to go!! Congrats on that!
ReplyDeleteI just caught up with ALL your awesome letters! (I'll be back for Z)
ReplyDeleteThese were great drawings.
Love the Tiger drawing! WANT! I've been to the Bronx Zoo in NY quite a few times to see the tigers. In a few areas we are only separated by glass. Amazing.
Love your humor. Hope your leg is doing better.
Thanks for supporting Stormy's posts all month.

Haha .. love the drumkit.
ReplyDeleteHey you...
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that the Yak was a member of the same family as the American Bison... but I can see the resemblance...
Take care...

Love your yak cartoon! I did a whale cartoon for W. LOL.
ReplyDeleteMaui Jungalow
Brilliant cartoon! I've not much to Yak about. However, fairly close, I've been to "Yahk and back." As in Yahk, British Columbia :)
