Q is for...


Quokka


Fun Facts: Besides looking like it was made at Pixar, the quokka is an interesting marsupial. A nocturnal animal found in Southern Australia, the quokka are herbivores. Because of their diet they can go months without drinking water at all. 





Thanks to all that are commenting. I promise to do better this week about getting around to all of you. My wife has gone back to work this week and I have been on solo new born duty. Anyway, thanks and see you all Monday.

    Kind of cute. Never heard of it, but there are a lot of creatures on that continent that I've never heard of.

    I had thought about doing the Quokka - friend from Oz suggested it. Glad I didn't now. It really is a cute little animal, didn't know about its ability to not drink for a while though.

    They are adorable. Do people keep them as pets? In a drought situation, being able to go without water that long... a HUGE plus.

    Yay...another Q word/animal to use in Scrabble....course getting 2 k's might be a problem....let's go for Pixar. Cute drawing....and that little guy would make a good desert animal....no water needed. Thanks for your visits this week...more than 1/2 way through.
